Cookie Policy

Last updated: February 23, 2026

1. Introduction

This Cookie Policy explains how SmartWorks Labs LLC ("SmartWorks Labs," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on the codaflo.ai website and platform (collectively, "the Service"). This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

By using the Service and accepting cookies when prompted, you consent to the use of cookies as described in this policy.

2. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile phone) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites function properly, improve user experience, and provide information to site operators.

Cookies may be "first-party" (set by the website you are visiting) or "third-party" (set by a service other than the website you are visiting). Cookies may also be "session" cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or "persistent" cookies (remaining on your device for a set period or until you delete them).

3. How We Use Cookies

We use cookies for the following purposes:

  • Essential Operations: Maintaining your login session, storing your cookie consent preferences, and ensuring the Service functions correctly
  • Analytics: Understanding how visitors use the Service so we can improve it
  • Functionality: Remembering your preferences, such as your chosen display theme, and suppressing UI elements you have dismissed
  • Future Marketing: We may use marketing cookies in the future for advertising purposes; if and when implemented, these will require your explicit consent

4. Cookie Categories

The tables below describe the cookies we use as of the effective date of this policy. Specific cookie names, durations, and behaviors may vary by browser, configuration, and updates made by third-party providers. We make reasonable efforts to keep this information current.

4.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies are essential for the Service to function. They are generally exempt from consent requirements under most privacy regulations, though we disclose them here for transparency.

4.3 Analytics Cookies

These cookies help us understand how visitors interact with the Service by collecting and reporting information. Analytics data is used in aggregate to improve the Service. Depending on your jurisdiction, these cookies may require your consent before being activated.

Note on Microsoft Clarity: Microsoft Clarity may or may not be active on the Service at any given time. When active, Clarity provides heatmaps and session recordings to help us improve the user experience. When Clarity is not active, its cookies are not set.

What analytics cookies tell us: Which pages visitors engage with most, where visitors drop off in the conversion funnel, which traffic sources (organic search, social media, direct) drive the most visits, general geographic regions of visitors, device and browser types, and page load performance metrics.

What analytics cookies do NOT do: They are not intended to directly identify you (such as by name or email address), access your stored data, or track your activity on other websites.

4.4 Marketing Cookies (Future)

We do not currently use marketing or advertising cookies. This category is reserved for future use if we implement paid advertising campaigns (such as Google Ads, Meta Pixel, or LinkedIn Insight Tag). If and when marketing cookies are introduced, they will require your explicit consent before being activated, and this Cookie Policy will be updated accordingly.

5. Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies on the Service are set by third-party services that we use. These services operate under their own cookie and privacy policies:

6. Cookie Consent

When you first visit the Service, you will see a cookie notice at the bottom of the page informing you of our use of cookies. You can choose to accept all cookies or reject non-essential cookies.

  • "Accept All" enables all cookie categories (strictly necessary, functional, and analytics)
  • "Reject Non-Essential" enables only strictly necessary cookies; analytics and functional cookies will not be activated

Your preference is stored in the cookie_consent cookie for one year. You can change your preference at any time by clicking the "Cookie Preferences" link in the footer of any page.

6.1 Google Consent Mode

We use Google Consent Mode v2 to manage analytics cookies in accordance with your preferences. When you have not given consent or have rejected non-essential cookies, Google Analytics is configured to not set tracking cookies on your device. Google's Consent Mode may still send limited, cookieless signals to support aggregate measurement, consistent with Google's documentation on Consent Mode behavior. If you accept cookies, Google Analytics operates with full tracking capability. If you revoke consent after initially accepting, we will restrict analytics tracking going forward and make reasonable efforts to clear existing analytics cookies from your device.

For more information on how Google Consent Mode works, please refer to Google's Consent Mode documentation.

7. Built-In Platform Analytics

In addition to cookies, certain third-party services we use provide built-in analytics as part of their platform. These analytics are generally not controlled by cookies set on our website, though some services may use similar technologies (such as server-side identifiers or session tokens) as part of their normal operations:

  • Vercel Analytics: Provides performance and usage metrics for our hosted application
  • Supabase Dashboard: Provides database usage and performance metrics
  • GitHub Insights: Provides repository activity metrics (does not involve user data)
  • Stripe Dashboard: Provides payment and subscription analytics
  • Resend Analytics: Provides email delivery and engagement metrics
  • Mailchimp Analytics: Provides email campaign performance metrics

These analytics are used for operational purposes and do not involve additional tracking of your personal information beyond what is described in our Privacy Policy.

8. How to Manage Cookies

8.1 Through Our Service

Use the cookie consent notice when you first visit, or click "Cookie Preferences" in the footer at any time, to manage your cookie preferences on codaflo.ai.

8.2 Through Your Browser

Most web browsers allow you to manage cookies through their settings. You can typically find cookie controls under "Privacy," "Security," or "Settings" in your browser menu. Common actions include viewing and deleting existing cookies, blocking all cookies or only third-party cookies, and setting your browser to notify you when a cookie is set.

Browser-specific instructions:

  • Google Chrome: Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies and other site data
  • Mozilla Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Microsoft Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies

Please note that blocking all cookies may impair the functionality of the Service, particularly authentication and session management.

8.3 Opt-Out Tools

You may also opt out of specific analytics tracking using the following tools:

9. Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. There is no industry-standard method for responding to DNT signals, and the Service does not currently respond to DNT signals. Your cookie consent preferences on our Service will determine which cookies are active regardless of your browser's DNT setting.

10. Changes to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the technologies we use, or applicable law. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document and, if appropriate, notify you via email.
